The Jessup Hose Company #2 Ambulance Corps was established as a division of the fire department in 1963. In its more than 4 decades of service, the Corps has worked to provide the residents of Jessup and its surrounding communities emergency medical care exceeding state and federal standards.
The Ambulance Association is staffed by 1 Pre-Hospital RN, 4 Paramedics, 15 Emergency Medical Technicians, 4 First Responders, 25 Vehicle Rescue Technicians, and 34 Attendants; all of whome are certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
In 2008, we responded more than 500 times to requests for assistance from you, your friends, and relatives. To respond to these emergencies, the Ambulance Corps operates two Basic Life Support Ambulances from the fire station on Hill Street. Both units carry the latest in critical life saving medical equipment and technology allow by the state and region.
