Jessup Hose Company Number 2 is a volunteer fire company, and as such we rely on members of our community to fill various positions within the organization. This provides the perfect oppurtunity for someone to give something special back to the community. Although not everyone wants to enter a burning building, there are other positions in the company one might find interesting. Some of these positions include the Emergency Medical Service, Administrative duties, and fundraising.

Another aspect of our company is our Junior Firefighter Program. This program s specifically for individuals between the ages of 14 and 17, who have an interest of learning more about the Fire Service. These members are NOT allowed to enter hazardous situations but it does allow them to get a feel for the fire service and to provide support to the company. Many of the participants in this program go on to join the comany as regular members.
